Receive a Pathway Booklet

The GCC Pathway Booklet outlines information about our mission & values, ministry opportunities, and ways to become equipped as a disciple of Jesus.  They are available at the Welcome Table or at the office.

Attend Prayer Group

A group of people meets for prayer every Sunday morning at the Community Center.  Prayer time starts at 8:15 am in the foyer of the German St. Entrance.  Personal prayer ministry starts at 8:30 am.

Join a Grace Group

We need groups that help us grow in our study of God’s Word, digging into and applying it. We connect in this context to encourage others in the Word.  To see a list of our current groups, click here.

Involved in a Life Group

The focus of these groups is life on life relationships, disciple-making, and involvement in each other’s lives. They include prayer and the Word, applying these by life on life.  To see a list of our current groups, click here.

Ministry Involvement

There are lots of ways to be involved in ministry at Grace.  Below is a list of ministries and a little bit about them.  If you are interested in serving in a particular ministry, please contact the church office.

Assimilation – The Assimilation Ministry exists to welcome and engage visitors through the love of Jesus Christ and connect them to the family of believers through helping them get involved in Grace Groups or ministries.

Children’s Church – The vision of our Children’s Ministry is that the children of Grace will learn about and experience Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. We desire to support the parents in evangelizing and discipling their children.

Facility Watch – The Facility Watch Ministry exists to ensure the safety and security for the facility and to ensure an appropriate response for safety, security, and urgent medical needs.

Grace Connect – Our desire is to see every person at Grace connected to others in the Body of Christ. Grace Connect Groups are magnetic. They draw new and even seasoned, members into deeper and richer experiences of God’s grace in the gospel.

Hospitality – The Hospitality Ministry exists to bring together the body of Christ in fellowship and thanksgiving, and to show the love of Christ by providing encouragement and support to individuals and families in need during a difficult or transitional time.

Missions – Guided and empowered by the Holy Spirit, we prayerfully reach out across cultures to those who don’t know Christ and those hungry for more of him, in ways that are beyond the scope of normal church functions.

Nursery – Nursery is provided to allow young mothers and especially those visiting to experience worship unhindered by the care of their little ones.  Nursery allows worship!  Hence, when we serve in the nursery, we are enhancing the worship of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Outreach  – The Outreach Team exists to plan for and support the outreach efforts of the church by praying for the community, promoting evangelistic outreach efforts, and equipping team and church members for evangelism and gospel sharing.

Set Up – Set Up exists to provide materials, equipment, and sound tech support to maximize the worship environment and flow of the worship service for those attending the service in order to bring glory to God.

Welcome – The Welcome Ministry exists to welcome people into the church family, in order that they may hear the Gospel and come to know Jesus as their Savior and Lord.

Worship/Sound – Music in the worship service provides a platform for those in the congregation to bring praise and honor to God our Creator and His Son, Jesus, our Redeemer as the Holy Spirit moves our hearts. The music provides a vocabulary that expresses our, sometimes, inexpressible feelings of love and adoration to our Lord. There is a unity of the Body as we participate in the service together.

“Oh, magnify the Lord with me, and let us exalt His name together!” Psalm 34:3

Youth Group – “How can a young person stay on the path of purity? By living according to your word.” Psalm 119:9

Our Christian youth struggle daily to live in a hostile culture. A disturbing number of children leave their home – and leave their faith. But, by striving to ground our youth in Biblical truths and creating an atmosphere where it is natural to express themselves spiritually, we hope to send them into the world prepared to change it.

Membership Class

The purpose of membership at Grace Community Church is to demonstrate that just as you chose Christ you also choose his people. We are to be members of one another, caring for, discipling, and serving one another. Membership at Grace says we are committed to this and willingly come under the authority of our leaders, elders, deacons, and ministry leaders, all of us under the headship of Jesus Christ.

Membership is a straightforward process at Grace, consisting of a membership class, giving testimony to your relationship with Jesus Christ, and an interview with the elders. It is culminated by agreeing to our membership covenant and being welcomed by our members.

Membership Application

A membership application can be filled out and submitted after completion of the membership class.

Membership Interview

After completing the membership class and submitting an application, an interview is conducted by the elders and/or pastors.

Ministry Leadership

Ministry Leadership is developed through the Leadership Pipeline.  The Leadership Pipeline is a culture of leadership development that generates an abundant harvest of reproducing leaders. Using a defined structure of leadership levels, we have a system of moving leaders through the pipeline.  We create content for training potential, new, and seasoned leaders to empower them to develop leaders.

We prepare future leaders by apprenticing them with present leaders, who are equipped through coaching in individual or small groups for peer to peer learning, and we inspire them all through bi-annual Spark gatherings.

Individualized Discipleship Plan

Our goal is that everyone in the body at GCC will have a personalized discipleship plan, connecting with others to disciple them and be discipled. Thus we fulfill disciple-making as envisioned in 2 Timothy 2:2, “And what you have heard from me in the presence of many witnesses entrust to faithful men, who will be able to teach others also.”
