Meet the Stuk’s – Weekly Connections 2-12-14

Grace Community Family – MEET THE STUK’S

Good afternoon every one! I hope that your week is going great and trusting that God is continuing to bless each and every one of you! This week we are going to get to know the Stuk’s just a little bit better! What an Amazing Family! Their love for the Lord, Willingness to help at any time, and their involvement with GCC is only a few of the reason’s that make them such an Amazing Family. Tell us about your family… We have been married 28 years (in March)! We have three great kids… Danielle (25), David (18), Jacob (16)…one fantastic Son-in-law Nathan (26)… and one absolutely perfect Grandbaby Leo (7 months)!!! Dave works in Morgan at Harvest Land/AgQuest and has been there for eighteen years now. Barb has been in the Interior Design Business for about nine years… the name of the business is SOS(Sisters of Style). David attends New Ulm Public where he is a senior this year and Jake attends Minnesota Valley Lutheran School where he is a sophomore this year. We stay pretty busy keeping up with the boys’ school/sports activities, grandbaby activities, and time spent in Alexandria during the summer months. What brought you to GCC?…. We were part of a core group that first came together as a bible study group a few years back. It has been a prayer of ours to follow God, in whatever direction he was leading, to reach the community of New Ulm. We both felt his direction and guidance in our decision to serve others through this church plant. What GCC activities/groups do you participate in? Dave is an Elder in the Church, and Barb is a Deacon. Jake sings on Worship Team, and Dave runs the PowerPoint. Both boys participate in Youth Group activities and we host a Bible Study out of our home.    If you could share 1 thing with everyone you talked to about why you attend GCC, what would it be?  It always comes back to relationships, and a loving church family! GCC’s Core Values are a true reflection of the hearts of our church body and how we embrace each other and our community.
